Wtyki Deans są wyjątkowo często spotykane w różnego rodzaju akumulatorach do modeli zdalnie sterowanych RC oraz replikach Airsoft. Złącze jest zbudowane tak, że niemożliwe jest odwrotne podłączenie często zamiennie nazywane "T-Plug" , "T-Connect" , "T-Dean" lub "T-Shape". Budowa uniemożliwia przypadkowe rozłączenie.

Deans plugs are very often found in various types of RC & Airsoft batteries. These connectors are built in a way to avoid shortening and reverse polarity and to prevent from accidental disconnection. They also appear under the name "T-Plug", "T-Connect", "T-Dean" or "T-Shape". 

Maximum recommended cable thickness: 8AWG (8.4mm²)
